Australia have ended their innings at 269 runs as India took advantage of the visitor’s middle-order collapse.
Skipper Smith opted for a surprising decision – to bat first. The visitors included David Warner in the playing XI but kept their hopes alive on regular opening pair of the series – Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head.
Mohammed Shami and Siraj started off well with their lethal pace, but it was Hardik Pandya’s magical spell which started gaining momentum for the blues.
On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav’s incredible spin bagged him three wickets throughout the spell. Siraj coming back in the later overs, was able to get 2 wickets while Axar Patel bagged in 2 wickets.
Australia ended innings with 269 runs with one over left for play. Will team India seal the series win with dominance or will the Australian break India’s top order yet again.
