The fourth India-Australia Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad ended in a draw. India went winless in two Test matches at home for the first time in more than ten years. In the previous Test in Indore, Australia had defeated India by nine wickets. However, India won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy by 2-1. There will be no crestfallen Australians as well. In the second half of the series, they fought bravely.
On the final day of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, 2023, Australia managed to keep India searching for wickets after a solid show by Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head. The two teams called a truce with over an hour remaining for stumps, and India won their 16th consecutive home series.
