IND VS AUS 2nd ODI – Australia beat India by ten wickets

India failed to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series

Australia beat India by ten wickets. The Aussies chased down 118 runs from just 11 overs in an ODI. Mitchell Marsh was brutal in the game’s second innings, hitting fifty off 29 balls. With a consecutive fifty by Mitchell Marsh in this series, the Aussies reached the target of 118 runs. With this, India registered their biggest-ever defeat in ODI history (in terms of balls remaining).

Australia continued building momentum against India in Sunday’s second ODI at the YS Raja Reddy Cricket Stadium, Vishakapatnam. 118 was never a target that would have bothered the visitors, but Australia was just too hot to handle. Mitchell Marsh and Head made their intentions clear from ball one. They wanted an early finish and had one, as the entire game lasted only 37 overs. Nothing turned out right for the Indians. They were shambolic with the bat, and the bowlers also had a forgettable outing. Australia has now levelled the series in emphatic style.
