The teams have travelled to Pune from Mumbai after a blockbuster first T20I. The Indian team is currently leading this three-match series by 1-0 after a thrilling win in the first game on Tuesday, 3rd January.
Team India won the first T20I against Sri Lanka by 2 runs and Deepak Hooda was named ‘player of the match’ for his wonderful innings in the first innings for India. There will be changes in the starting XI of India as batter Sanju Samson is injured and has been ruled out of this series. Punjab Kings’ batter Jitesh Sharma has replaced Sanju in the team for the remaining games.
