Shreyas Iyer played a massive role in helping the team cross the 200 mark when the pitch behaved uncertain under the lights. He has been phenomenal with the bat since the limited over series against Sri Lanka. The batter yet again displayed his blazing form against Sri Lanka in the second test on Day 1. His epic knock of 92 runs – sadly missed his century by 8 runs after attempting to counter Jayawickrama. Iyer scored 10 fours and 4 sixes. However, in order to applaud Iyer’s inning, Wasim Jaffer posted an epic and humorous tweet.
