Indian cricket team and Sri Lanka are currently at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in the second ODI. The Sri Lankan team have lost two wickets in quick succession. The spinners of India came in attack and they helped India take the second and third wicket.
Indian team were searching for second wicket as Kusal Mendis and Nuwanidu made a good partnership after an early wicket in the powerplay. Indian team in search of second wicket brought in the spin attack. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Kusal Mendis for 34 runs in his very first over. It was a perfect delivery to dismiss the set batter.
In the next over, spinner Axar Patel was brought in and he also took a wicket in his very first ball. Axar dismissed Dhananjaya de Silva for a golden duck.
