IND v NZ: Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma left out of the T20I squad

Virat and Rohit continue to eye their interest in the ODI format only.

Indian cricket team has announced their T20I squad for the upcoming New Zealand’s series. There were many experienced players’ name missed out. Skipper Rohit Sharma and former Indian team captain Virat Kohli were left out of the squad for the T20I series.

After the T20I World Cup both the experienced batters (Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma) haven’t played a single T20I series for India. Hardik Pandya has again named as captain of Indian team for this series as well. India recently played a three-game T20I series against Sri Lanka where again both these batters were left out of the squad.

There are no injuries to any of these players and thus they are not selected by BCCI. Some fans are questioning this BCCI’s decision of not selecting the senior players for the T20I series. The T20I series between India and New Zealand will start from 27th January, Friday after the three-game ODI series.
