IND v NZ 1st T20I: Predicted playing XI of India in today’s game against New Zealand

India and New Zealand will play the three-game T20I series after the ODIs starting from today.

Indian cricket team will be facing New Zealand in the T20I series now after the host lifted the ODI series trophy. New Zealand were beaten by India in the three-game ODI series by 3-0. This was the first time Rohit Sharma defeated New Zealand by 3-0 in any series since he has become the captain of the Indian cricket team.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli won’t be seen playing in the T20I series against New Zealand and Hardik Pandya will lead the side. Hardik Pandya also led the side against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka lately and won in all the series. Hardik Pandya is emerging as one of the potential Indian captions in the future. Apart from his bowling and batting, the coaches wants to see a leadership in him. There will be a complete different Indian team in the T20I series as some of the players played in ODIs haven’t been picked up.
