
Both Pakistan and India have been dominant in the ICC Aisa Cup 2022. In the arch-rival match, Pakistan outplayed India in every department winning the match by 13 runs.
Pakistan won the toss at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh and opted to bat first. Despite not having a steady start, Pakistan’s all-rounder Nida Dar (56*) played n undisputed star innings with an impressive strike rate of 151.35. Her innings mounted Pakistan to a respectable score of 137/6.
However, India was completely choked by Pak bowlers. India was whitewashed for 124 leading Pakistan to a comfortable win in the final over of the game. Nida Dar not only with the bat dominated the Indian side but also struck two wickets dismissing Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (12) and Jemimah Rodrigues (2).
Despite losing the game, India still stands at the top of the points table followed by Pakistan. But surely this will be a wake-up call for the Indian team after their first poor performance at the Asia Cup.
