Bangladesh defeated Malaysia by 88 runs claiming a dominant and comfortable win as the host of the ICC Women’s Asia Cup 2022.
Malaysia took the chase nowhere, losing all ten wickets for just 41 runs, with all their batters returning to the pavilion with single-digit scores. The Malaysian top order was dismissed by Bangladesh’s Trisna with a debut hat trick, reducing the opposition to 13/3 in the sixth over.
The match was pretty much one-sided and with the comfortable win, Bangladesh ranked in the third spot in the points table.
