
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023, generating excitement among cricket fans. The tournament will commence on October 5 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, with the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match scheduled for October 15.
The Indian team will face Australia in Chennai on October 8, while the final will take place on November 19 in Ahmedabad. Ten teams will participate, with eight already qualified through the Cricket World Cup Super League, and the remaining two spots to be determined in the Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe.
The teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top four advancing to the semi-finals. Notable matches include England vs New Zealand in the opening game and Australia vs South Africa on October 13.
