Team India have successfully crossed 50 runs and very close to clinch the maiden trophy. Shafali Verma and Shweta Sehrawat lost their wicket early in India’s chase of a meagre 69, but the team has since been able to keep the scoreboard moving.
Earlier, India have bowled out England for a paltry 68 in the first-ever ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup final on Sunday. After England’s batting once again failed in a crucial game, the women in blue already have one hand on their trophy.
