It has been a magical performance by the Group A and B teams who fought for a secured place with the dominating teams for the Super 12. Quite excitingly, the Super 12 kicks off today with Australia, the hosts, playing against New Zealand, as the fans suggest – the Kiwis.
Australian skipper Finch has opted to bowl first and suggested their playing XI exclude top player Steve Smith. David Warner will be the opening partner for the skipper with, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, and Tim David handling the batting unit from the top. While Marcus Stoinis, Mathew Wade and Pat Cummins can play a significant role in the middle order. Other players who might impact the hosts in their first innings, are – Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, and Josh Hazlewood.
