The BCCI is in full swing preparing the 12 venues for the upcoming World Cup 2023, allocating a significant budget of Rs 500 crore for renovations.
With less than 100 days remaining, the stadiums are being upgraded to meet modern standards and provide top-notch facilities. Specific enhancements are being made at each venue, including minor renovations at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, a new dressing room at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, and an imported grass outfield at Dharamshala.
One crucial aspect being addressed is the ticketing system, with an upgraded online process implemented to ensure a smoother experience for fans.
Each stadium has its own improvements, such as newly-laid pitches at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, upgraded toilets and software at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, and new LED lights at Chennai’s M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.
The BCCI’s dedication to renovating and upgrading the venues promises a world-class experience for players and fans alike at the World Cup 2023.
