Indian cricket team has named their 16-men squad for the three-match T20I series against Sri-Lanka and also they have announced their 18-men squad for the upcoming test series against them. There will only be two matches played in this Test series but it will be fun to watch. Indian opener Mayank Agarwal was also selected for this Test Series against Sri-Lanka which is to be played in the month of March. The Punjab Kings’ opening batsman on Wednesday opened up on his favorite batting position. He said that he is comfortable in any position and can provide runs at any number he is asked to bat.
“In Test cricket, it’s the openers who set up the day for the batters to follow, I really enjoy doing that. I am also comfortable batting at any position the team wants me to bat, at any given situation,” Opening batter Mayank Agarwal said as ANI reports.
Mayank Agarwal also took out the topic of this year’s auction and feels that his team i.e. Punjab Kings has done very well in the Mega Auctions. The opener will be seen opening the innings for Punjab in the IPL 2022, but before that, he will be opening the batting with Rohit Sharma in the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka starting from March 4. The series will be ending on March 16 in Bengaluru.
