India’s most reliable wicket-keeper after MS Dhoni, Wriddhiman Saha seems to have finally come to terms after being sidelined by the BCCI. According to him, the Selectors have already communicated with him that he won’t get considered for the National team in the future. Saha feels he should have been selected for upcoming India against England test match. But, after a remarkable performance of Dinesh Karthik, the chance of coming back to National team looks bleak for Widdhiman Saha. The Wicket-keeper batsman was a part of Gujarat Titans in the 2022 Ipl season. He scored 317 runs in 11 games with a strike rate of 122.39 at an average of 31.70. Gujarat Titans were the Winner of the 2022 Ipl Season. He played the role of Wicket-keeper and an opener for Gujrat Titans.

He feels that after contributing 317 runs in 11 Innings he should have gotten a call by the Indian selectors for England tour. In an interview with Sport’s Tak the Wicket-keeper batsman Widdhiman Saha said, “I don’t think I would be selected in the national team anymore as the coach and chief selector had already said this to me. If they were interested in selecting me, I might have been on the England tour after my performance in IPL 2022. This means that they have already made up their mind about me,” “What matters to me is to play cricket and as long as I feel good, I will keep playing,” he added. The Bengal player Widdhiman Saha has given up his hope of playing in the National team.
