Hong Kong set new foot in T20 format as they play their first game against India

To date, there has never been a T20 International match between India and Hong Kong. India has defeated Hong Kong in both of its one-day international matches. In their most recent encounter, India defeated Hong Kong by 26 runs in the 2018 Asia Cup. On Wednesday, August 31, India and Hong Kong will square off in the fourth encounter of the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai. Both sides are assigned to group A, which also includes Pakistan. Group B includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. The venues of all the games are Dubai and Sharjah.

“It’s been a very long tour for us. Three months on the road, but credit goes to our boys. Players have been playing on leg, there have been injuries as well. But they have held on really well” – Nizakat Khan said earlier.
