Indian cricket team’s vice-captain named Jasprit Bumrah faced some questions in a pre-match press conference before playing the second and the final Test match against Sri Lanka, starting from 12th March in Bengaluru. Bumrah also cleared some questions regarding why Axar Patel who is been newly added to the team for the final game was replaced by Kuldeep Yadav. The star pace bowler said that he (Kuldeep Yadav) is not been dropped for the team, he’s just been sent home so that he can rest as vice-captain feels that Kuldeep was in the bubble for a long time and was in need of some rest.

“He was been in the bubble for a long time, hasn’t been home as well. He’s been sent home and rested from that aspect. It’s not that he’s been dropped,” Jasprit Bumrah said in a pre-match press conference as TOI reports.

After an amazing victory in the first Test, the Indian team added Axar Patel into the team as the star spin bowler was fit for the game and he replaced Kuldeep Yadav in the squad who was not been picked in the starting 11 in the first game. India will be facing Sri Lanka in the last game of the series before the 15th season of the Indian Premier League which is starting from 26th March. This final Test will be a day-night match and thus, both the teams have already started their practice with the pink ball.
