HERO CPL T20: Trinidad Knight Rider beat Barbados Tridents by 19 Runs

Trinidad set a mammoth of task for the Barbados Tridents to reach the mark of 186 runs which they failed to do so, Trinidad chose to bat first and scored 185 on the board ending the first innings, contribution of Colin Munro of 50 in 30 balls did provide the base for players such as Darren Bravo and Kieron Pollard to end the final over with a band, Pollard score 41 of just 17 balls a strong finish by the Trninidad Knight Riders.

Chasing the 186 run Barbados had a good early start with Charles hitting 52 and Shai Hope a 36 but the early momentum was turned down by the dismissal of Charles by Fawad Ahmed and there after the bating order crumbled with Corey Anderson falling out at just 2 followed by Kyle Mayers with 1 and Jonathan Carter who could only manage 8 runs , Jason Holder the captain did try his luck with 34 in just 17 balls the efforts of the skipper fell short as they could only hit 166 after the end of 20 over spell by the Trinidad Knight Riders.


At the end Trinidad Knight Riders beat Barbados Trident by 19 runs as the chasing team could only manage 166/6 after the end of 20 overs.
