The Indian board is finally prepared to announce the new central contracts after months of delay brought on by the BCCI Elections. According to reports, the new contracts have been settled upon and will be made public next month. In order for the new selection committee and the cricket advisory committee to assume leadership, the announcement was postponed. The apex body is prepared now that both are in position. The biggest promotions will go to T20 captain and vice captain Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav.
“Yes, there has been a little delay due to elections and the selection committee. The final discussions are already done. It should be out by next month,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport on Saturday.
