A day after his retirement Harbhajan Singh has his word over political scope. Harbhajan Singh said, received offers from various parties to align with them. But moving into politics have to think about it before any announcement.
In his stellar career, the veteran spinner has taken 417 test wickets and 269 ODI wickets. Harbhajan Singh after being ignored, again and again, spinner took retirement at the age of 41.
Talking about his views to join a political career, Harbhajan Singh addressed, “About my plans, I have not yet decided to be honest. With cricket, I will stay connected because it’s Cricket that people know me. About the second innings to join politics I will let everyone know about it in near future,” Harbhajan Singh said during a press conference as reported by TOI.
“I have received different offers from parties to align with them. But I have to sit and think about it. It’s a kind of commitment job which is not good to do with the half-hearted mind. As the day comes I am ready, I will go for it,” he added.
Harbhajan Singh last played for team India in 2015 in a test match against Sri Lanka followed by ODI against South Africa. In the last T20 ga, Harbhajan Singh had played against UAE in 2016 during the world cup game. After then he has played franchise cricket much in tournaments like IPL.
