
The Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler writes a heartfelt message to the Indian Premier League’s players, teammates m support staff, fans and the tournament’s winners, the Gujarat Titans.
While the Sanju Samson-led squad was beaten by Gujarat Titans by seven wickets in the grand final, Buttler was full of compliments for his teammates.
“Congratulations to all involved for another brilliant IPL and congratulations to Gujarat Titans on your victory,” he tweeted.
“It has been a really memorable season played in great spirit and a lot of fun! I am very proud of the personal achievements this season and thank everyone who has helped me through the tournament and look forward to building on it next year as we look to go that one step further!”.

Buttler was an outstanding player for the whole of the campaign, sporting the Orange Cap. He was 247 runs ahead of KL Rahul, who has been second on the list of run-getters, with an average of 57.53 in 17 innings.
Buttler’s batting heroics helped the Rajasthan Royals reach their first IPL final in 15 years. With nine wins out of fourteen games, RR concluded the season in second position.
