India’s team for the forthcoming tours of Bangladesh and New Zealand in November and December was announced by the BCCI on Monday. While many young people, such Yash Dayal and Kuldeep Sen, received opportunities, many others, including Prithvi Shaw and Umesh Yadav, did not.
It was clear that the players must be frustrated that guys like Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan, who have performed on the domestic circuit for the previous year or so, didn’t have a chance.
One of the many potential players who was expected to be a part of atleast one of the series was the Indian pacer Umesh Yadav. Umesh Yadav posted a note that read, “May be you can fool me, but God is watching you mind that.”
