Former Indian captain MS Dhoni to accompany Tamil Nadu CM for inauguration of new stand at Chepauk ahead of IND vs AUS ODI

MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, is going to inaugurate a new stand at the MA Chidambaram Stadium before the third ODI between India and Australia, and he will be accompanied by MS Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The Chepauk Stadium’s newest stand, which will house the Anna Pavilion, is expected to bear M. Karunanidhi’s name in honor of the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu. The ground floor of the redesigned Anna Pavilion will house a state-of-the-art indoor training facility.

The chief minister of Tamil Nadu will inaugurate the new stand on March 17 in memory of MK Stalin’s late father, who held the position five times between 1969 and 2011. According to The Indian Express, a new Madras Cricket Club stand will also be finished at that time.
