
Former Australian Right-arm fast-medium bowler, Peter Siddle is all set to join compatriot Mathew Renshaw at Taunton as he signed the contract with Somerset County Cricket Club for the 2022 season, announced on Friday.

Peter Siddle has county experience at Nottinghamshire, Lancashire, and Essex and is now ready for all Somerset formats of the game up to at least the end of August.
In his career, he has played 67 Tests for Australia taking 221 wickets. He has also been a part of the 20 one-day internationals and two Twety20’s.
The 37-year-old said that over the years, he has had some good games against Somerset and is now looking ahead to contribute some victories for them.
Peter Siddle enjoys playing in England and he would love to participate in Somerset gaining some silverware, mainly their first-ever county championship.
Andy hurry, Somerset director of cricket, said that the presence of Peter will bring a huge amount to Somerset, on and off-field both. He further said that he playing well at the very highest level, and the experience that he will share on the field and even in the changing room is going to be invaluable.
Earlier this week, Somerset County Cricket Club had announced the return of the English-Australian cricketer, Mathew Renshaw who has played 11 Tests for Australia.
