After the ODIs with Australia, the Indian team will participate in the World Cup 2023. After finishing the World Cup in November, the men in blue will face the Australian team for 5 T20s in India. The date is said to be in the month of November-December after the World Cup 2023. This T20 series will be the last series for Australia in India for 2023. After playing the Aussies, the men in blue will tour South Africa for 2 tests which will be part of WTC 2023-25, 3 ODIs, and 3 T20s. The tour of South Africa is said to be scheduled for December 2023-January 2024.
There are yet no teams announced for the schedules of Australia and South Africa but it is likely that Hardik Pandya will be leading the men in blue for the T20s and the rest of the formats will be led by Rohit Sharma.
