India managed to win the unimportant third one-day international in the current series against Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s dominance in the series’ opening two games had already guaranteed their victory.
India’s outstanding 409-run innings was a significant factor, especially in light of the close proximity of the ICC World Cup 2023. Virat Kohli managed to bring up his 72nd century but was slightly overshadowed by Ishan Kishan’s dominance. Washington Sundar and Axar Patel concluded the Indian innings by adding some bonus runs and 409 was a tough target to chase for the Bengal Tigers.
