At Chepauk Stadium, the Indian dugout witnesses an emotional moment.

Chennai has been painted yellow, from the local trains to the gully walls, as “Thala” returns to the field for the Indian Premier League 2023.

The crowd and vibe around the Chepauk Stadium are all in the “Mahi way,” but the stadium still has one job left before the start of the TATA IPL, which is the 3rd ODI between India and Australia.

CSK officials shared an emotional photo of Mahendra Singh Dhoni smiling as he sits in the Indian dugout ahead of the start of the third ODI.

The fans on the other hand experienced an awestruck moment when they witnessed one of the finest former skipper of team India sitting at a “throne” which suits him forever.

The emotions flowed through when the caption read “Main pal do pal ka shayar hoon” which surely every Dhoni fan will remember of how placidly the veteran wicket-keeper retired with a video, thanking everyone and informing his fans – “From 1929 hours (7:29 pm) consider me retired”
