“Failures make champion players stronger” – Shikhar Dhawan on KL Rahul finding form

Shikhar Dhawan has loaded recognition on his India colleague KL Rahul for organizing a strong rebound with the bat in the primary ODI against England in Pune.

Coming in to bat at No.5, Rahul scored 62 off 43 balls to help Team India post 317 in their specified 50 overs. He also claimed three catches as a wicket-keeper.

KL Rahul had a torrid time with the bat in the T20Is, scoring just 15 runs in his last five innings in international cricket.

Considering him “a lot more grounded player” after his series of disappointments, Shikhar Dhawan trusts Rahul will acquire a great deal of certainty from his energetic fifty.

In the post-match question and answer session, Dhawan considered KL Rahul a “class player” and accepts the right-hander will bat all the more easily in impending matches.
