South African batsman Faf du Plessis, spin bowler Imran Tahir, and Trinidadian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo have joined Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in UAE ahead of the remainder of the IPL 2021. The Indian Premier League is just a few days away and teams have already started practice and net sessions. The players who were out for some other tournaments or series have also started arriving in UAE. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team started their practice one month before the IPL resumes. Captain Ms Dhoni who has recently been appointed as the mentor of team India for the T20I World Cup 2021, and vice-captain Suresh Raina have also joined the team.

Some experienced first-team players named Faf du Plessis, Dwayne Bravo, and Imran Tahir who were serving their team in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2021 have arrived in Dubai. Imran Tahir plays for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the CPL and is one of the important players for them. Meanwhile, opening batsman Faf du Plessis is the captain of the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots team, and all-rounder Dwayne Bravo played under his captaincy in CPL 2021. After the final match of CPL 2021, which happened on 15th September, these players left for Dubai.
However, it seems unlikely that Faf, Dwayne, and Imran will feature for CSK in their game against giants Mumbai Indians on 19th September 2021, as the players have been told to undergo two-day isolation before joining the team.
