“Everyone in India wishes to play under MS Dhoni,” says Chetan Sakariya

Indian pacer Chetan Sakariya dreams to play under veteran player MS Dhoni as he wishes Chennai Super Kings to bid on him for his dream to come true.

Chetan Sakariya in an interview with Mr. Boria Majumdar confessed about his debut in the very first of year his IPL career and also spoke about the difficulties he overcame in the year 2021 and now wishes his IPL season to go well with a dream of playing under MS Dhoni.

Chetan stated that he feels excited that the cricket has resumed in India with the domestic tournament as well as IPL happening in India. He wishes to bowl well in the domestic season, specifically the Ranji Trophy. Chetan was questioned about the impact of domestic cricket in India and he answered that for a player domestic cricket is critical as the selection of various national tournaments depends on domestic cricket. Chetan feels excited that the Ranji Trophy has resumed once again and he is confident to bowl in the upcoming season.

Talking about the mega auctions, Chetan feels excited as well as nervous, being excited about the question of who is going to pick the young pacer and nervous about his journey for the upcoming season. Chetan confessed that he wishes to play under MS Dhoni before he retires. Further adding about MS Dhoni, Chetan stated that no one would deny playing under MS Dhoni and it is a dream for every Indian player to play under him.

“The youngsters do not have a lot of time as he (MS Dhoni) is a man who surprises everyone with sudden decisions as we witnessed his decision of quitting Test format suddenly as well as retiring unexpectedly,” added Chetan Sakariya in an episode of ‘ Auction Reels’.

Inspiring to play under Dhoni, Chetan overwhelms with his confession that he believes MS Dhoni’s arrival in team India was a critical aspect for the team as winning so many ICC Trophies is not so easy. Chetan believes to learn MS Dhoni’s thought process and the way he thinks during a match.
