Smriti Madhana and Shafali Verma opened the innings for India. On the 11th over Kate Cross came to the bowling attack. On the fifth ball, she took the wicket of Smriti Mandhana. She threw her wicket away by playing a loose shot and throws her hands at a slightly widish delivery and ends up chopping it right onto the stumps.
As Smriti Mandhana departs scoring 22 runs off 30 balls. She had hit only three boundaries and zero six. As Kate Cross broke the Indian opening line-up by departing Smriti Mandhana out. Shafali Verma is on the crease, she is at 43 runs off 49 balls played yet. Shafali has till now scored seven boundaries and zero six. The Indian fans will hope that she scores big.
