The English side is one of the best Test sides in 2022 as they have won 9 out of 10 games under Ben Stokes’ captaincy.
Recently, England wrote history after they won the incredible three-match Test series in Pakistan. Being the visitors, they never played like one. Ben Stokes has been amazing so far with his captaincy role in Test cricket.
England was also the team to beat in T20 World Cup 2022 and thus they won the trophy this season. They won the Test series against South Africa and then they defeated Pakistan in their home.
Most sixes by a team in Tests in a calendar year:
89 – England in 2022
87 – India in 2021
81 – New Zealand in 2014.
England has overtaken the Indian cricket team who hit 87 last year. England’s 89 sixes is also the most sixes hit by any Test team in a calendar year.
