England set a new record by scoring 498 runs against Netherland. Netherland won the toss and invited the visitors to bat first which England steered in their way by scoring a milestone of 498/4 on board. England broke their own record of 481 against Australia in 2018 with 498 against Netherland in the International ODI format.
The unrealistic performance by the England Batsmen in form of Jos Buttler, Philip Salt, and Dawid Malan. The start didn’t age well as Jason Roy got clean bowled by Shane Snater but Philip Salt and David Malan bagged the responsibility to steer the team across a rough start. Both of them smashed the Netherland’s bowler brutally. Philip Salt scored 122 by playing 93 deliveries and David Malan scored 125 in 109 bowls which include one massive six by him that left the stadium tailing behind.
Jos Buttler came as a nightmare for the Netherland and scored the second fastest Century in just 47 deliveries. It was a one-man show against Netherland as he got LBW by Pieter Seelaar and he Scored 162 runs by playing just 70 Deliveries.
Further, there was a hard-hitting display by the Liam Livingstone as he came up with a fiery half-century in just 17 deliveries and broke the record for the fastest 21 balls half-century held by Eion Morgan. England in their inning hit 26 sixes which alone collected 156 runs.
