
England tour of South Africa (SA) will start from November 27. In the meantime, an undisclosed SA player has been tested positive for Coronavirus. Two others who were in close contact with the player are under observation. However, All three are asymptomatic and CSA’s medical team is keeping an eye on them.
Cricket South Africa (CSA), has ensured that regular PCR tests are being conducted. Before the players and the support staff entered the Bio-Safe Environment in Cape Town, 50 COVID-19 tests were performed. England will play three T20Is and ODIs. Only two grounds will host the matches i.e. Newlands and Paarl.
England’s squad will play a practice match on Saturday. On arrival all, the players were tested negative for COVID-19.
