He scored the fastest double ton against Zimbabwe at the Manuka Oval on 24 February, 2015 during the World Cup. He surpassed Virendra Sehwag’s record of 140-ball double ton. The left-hander batter survived for 147 balls to bring 215 runs. He inked the swashbuckling knock with 10 fours and 16 sixes.

The 2015 World Cup also noted South African cricketer AB de Villiers scoring the fastest ODI 150. He smashed the record against West Indies.
