Dinesh Karthik praises this Indian pacer and calls him ‘an absolute revelation”

Dinesh Karthik, in an interview to ICC Review, highly appreciated Venkatesh Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, and Harshal Patel and called Harshal Patel “an absolute revelation.”

One of India’s most experienced wicket-keeper batsmen, Dinesh Karthik, praised Harshal Patel in an interview given to ICC Review. Along with Harshal Patel, Dinesh Karthik also praised young talent like Venkatesh Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav. Dinesh Karthik described Harshal Patel as ‘an absolute revelation’ and praised his death over bowling. Recently, Harshal Patel also bowled brilliantly in the three-match T20 series against West Indies and took 5 wickets.

The series against the West Indies was won 3-0 by India and Harshal Patel also contributed significantly to India’s spectacular victory. In the IPL played in 2021, Harshal Patel took 32 wickets at an impressive economy of 14.34 and won the Purple Cap. He was also given a place in the Indian team due to his brilliant performance in IPL.

In this interview given to ICC Review, Dinesh Karthik while appreciating the Indian youngsters said that,” the players are not letting any chance go from their hands.”

Along with Harshal Patel, Dinesh Karthik also praised Suryakumar Yadav and Venkatesh Iyer and said that both the players have taken full advantage of the opportunity and have presented their strong claim in the Indian team.

“It is always a matter of pride and currently the Indian team is number one in the T-20 world rankings which is a very pleasant experience.” on the question of coming at NO.1 in T-20I rankings, Karthik said in his interview given to ICC review.

“Whenever you talk about a good team, whether it is Australia or England, it is always seen that their bench strength is good, like them, today India also has a very good bench strength, due to which the Indian team is much better than before,” Karthik added.

The Indian team is currently playing a series of three T-20 matches against Sri Lanka in which they are leading 1-0 and their second match is to be played from 7:00 pm on Saturday at the Dharamsala ground.
