
Deepak Chahar will no longer be a part of Team India in the three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka to be played from February 24. In the last match of the T- 20 series against the West Indies, Deepak Chahar was seen suffering from a hamstring injury, due to which he will not be able to participate in the three T-20 match series against Sri Lanka.
Deepak Chahar will do rehab at NCA to recover from his injury and will try to return to the field as soon as possible.
After Deepak Chahar’s injury, the eyes of Chennai Super King will also be on him and Chennai Super Kings would also like Deepak Chahar to come out of his injury soon and return to the field. Chennai Super Kings has bought Deepak Chahar for 14 crores in this year’s IPL auction and has put a lot of faith in him. If Deepak Chahar is not able to play even IPL, then the camp of Chennai Super Kings will get a big blow.
Deepak Chahar was seen playing in the recent West Indies series. Where Rohit Sharma’s men clean swept West Indies in ODI as well as T20Is. Deepak Chahar sustained this injury during the third and the last T20I against West Indies which was played on 20 February Sunday. Since he was injured, Venkatesh Iyer continued his spell and took 2 important wickets in the game.
