David Warner posts a message for Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant

On December 30, the wicketkeeper for India, Rishabh Pant, was engaged in a terrible car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. A bus driver and conductor from Haryana Roadways assisted in pulling the Delhi Capitals captain from the burning vehicle, and he was then taken to a nearby hospital. Later, Pant was transferred to Max Hospital in Dehradun for treatment of a torn ligament and other ailments, including burn injuries.

The Australian cricketer and a former captain of the Australian cricket team David Warner, posted a heartfelt message on his official Instagram account, wishing Pant for a quick recovery. When Warner and Pant performed in the most recent IPL 2022, the Delhi Capital jersey was featured in the uploaded post. The two have been a fantastic duo throughout the series. “Get well soon brother, we all behind you,” read the post’s caption.

Within a short while, numerous Instagram users left “Get well soon” comments on the photo. Warner shared the post, and one person commented, “Respect.” “We need him back for IPL 2023,” another person wrote. “Thanks David for showing so much love for India,” another user commented. Pant might not be able to take part in the forthcoming IPL 2023 because of his ailment.

Since Rishabh Pant is unlikely to play in this season’s Indian Premier League, the Delhi Capitals (DC) are likely to hand over the captaincy to senior Australian opener David Warner (IPL 2023). In the upcoming days, Warner is likely to have a conversation with the DC club management about the captaincy. In addition, if Pant is unable to become healthy in time, Sarfaraz Khan might have to do the wicketkeeping for the entire season.
