CSA announces revised schedule for India’s tour to SA, Centurion to host the Boxing-day Test

Cricket South Africa has announced the updated schedule for India’s tour to South Africa for 3 Tests and 3 ODIs, Centurion will be hosting the boxing day test starting from December 26.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has finally the updated schedule for India’s tour to South Africa which will consist of 3 tests and 3 ODIs as previously announced starting from December 26 2021.

The tour will get underway with the Boxing day Test at SuperSport Park in Centurion with the remaining two test matches to be played in Cape Town. All test matches of the series are part of the WTC 2023 cycle.

Both teams then will move to Paarl to play the first two ODIs on January 19 and 21 and will get back to Cape Town for the third and final match. All the matches of the ODI series are part of ICC Men’s ODI World Cup Superleague, which is the qualification tournament for ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 in India.
As announced earlier, the 4-match T20I series will be rescheduled for a more opportune time in the new year. The tour has been trimmed due to the sudden outbreak of a new omicron variant in the rainbow nation.
