As per the BCCI rule, any player who wants to play in domestic T20 leagues in foreign countries will get No Objection Certificate provided he announces retirement from all forms of domestic cricket including Indian Premier League. The famous Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh too did so before he went to play the Global T20 league in Canada. Pravin Tambe followed his footsteps.
Pravin Tambe retires, withdraws and retires yet again to become first Indian player to play in CPL.
