Pakistan on Thursday revealed their teams for the seven-match T20 series against England at home as well as the T20 World Cup in Australia. Former Pakistani bowler Mohammad Amir used Twitter to criticise the pick and the selector in response to the news of the decision. “Chief selector ki cheap selection,” he said.

PCB and Amir have been at odds for a very long time. The pacer also stated that his mental health was being negatively impacted by the negative team and board climate while announcing his retirement.
