Chase Master back in business as he brings up his 59th Half Century

India is chasing in the second ODI against Australia. The Aussies have set a huge target of 390 for India to level the series. India is behind in this series by 1-0. India got this mammoth total due to brilliance of Smith’s ton, Labuschagne’s decent knock and Maxwell’s finishing skills.

India started the chase strongly with Dhawan and Aggarwal taking on the Aussie bowlers. But after reaching 50 run partnership, the duo struggled to hit the ball and soon Dhawan fell to the run rate pressure. Aggarwal followed Dhawan as he too fell to Cummins edging the ball behind the stumps.

Virat came in bat at score of 58. He was joined by Iyer in the middle after Aggarwal’s wicket fell. Iyer and Kohli began to build a partnership to carry on the chase. Virat and Iyer played decently as they weren’t taking any risks while playing their shots. They kept on rotating strike as they took team past 150. Kohli made his 59th Half Century in ODI’s. The score is now at 160 at end of 25th over  for loss of 3 wickets. Iyer fell to Henriques when team score was at 153.
