Australian All-Rounder Cameron Green says that he is in his wildest dreams as he never expected that Australia would win the fifth Ashes Test against England on Sunday.
In the second innings, Green, Scott Boland, and Pat Cummins had taken three-wicket each leading Australia to win against England by 146 runs in the fifth Ashes test at Blundstone Arena.
Green says that it’s a special moment and he will look back at it when it will start sinking in the next couple of days.
“It was good fun out there, good to help the team out and so good to get the job done. You’ve watched Ashes cricket your whole life, you are overwhelmed initially, as you get to the back end, you get used to it”, Cameron Green said to ANI.
Cameron Green also appreciated Captain, Pat Cummins’s efforts and said that he was unreal during the Ashes. Cummins maintained calmness in the middle even when the openers were playing well. Green always finds it nice to spend time with the skipper in the middle and hopes to continue with it.
England was chasing a fourth inning target of 271 runs but got all out at 124 with Cummin’s outstanding wicket in the fifth ball to England’s No.10 Ollie Robinson for a golden duck.
