boAt Founder Aman Gupta Wants India to Lose a Match in CWC23. Find Out Why..

Indian cricket team have remained unbeaten in CWC23 but co-founder of boAt Aman Gupta has wished for Indian team to lose a match in CWC23

Aman Gupta, a co-founder of boAt, has opined on the winning streak of the Indian team in the ongoing cricket World Cup 2023 in India. The co-founder has suggested that India should lose a match before the team qualifies for the semifinals. Indian cricket team under Rohit Sharma has won all of their six matches, so far. The team appears in-form and all the players have put their best foot forward, except Shreyas Iyer who has disappointed the team after the team lost early wickets. India is the favorite to qualify for the semi-finals, and if the team wins against Sri Lanka, the team will be the first to qualify for the semi-finals.

India’s performance in knockout matches has been disappointing, so far, since the 2011 World Cup. Aman Gupta’s post on LinkedIn stresses knock-out fear where Indian teams in the past were in good form in group matches and only collapsed during the knockouts. Aman Gupta in his post said, “Am I the only one who wants India to lose one match before reaching the Semi-Finals? We don’t want to lose the semis or the finals. Getting things too easily makes one a bit arrogant careless or complacent. What do you guys think? 🤞🏼🙏🇮🇳 I want 2011 to repeat itself, not 2019.”

India lost to New Zealand during the 2019 World Cup in the semi-final in England. India also lost a semifinal encounter to Australia in the 2015 World Cup. Only in 2011, did India lose a match in the group stage to South Africa before they beat Pakistan, Australia, and Sri Lanka in the final.
