In a thrilling T20 World Cup game on Thursday, Zimbabwe outplayed Pakistan by one run. In order to stop their fancied opponents at 129 for eight while defending a modest 131, Zimbabwe stifled the Pakistani hitters and took wickets at regular intervals.
With statistics of 3 for 25 from his four overs, including the dismissals of Shan Masood (44), Shahdab Khan (17), and Haider Ali, all-rounder Sikandar Raza,(who was born in Pakistan), completely changed the course of the game in the middle overs.
In addition to Blessing Muzarabani (1/18) and Luke Jongwe (1/10), right-arm pacer Brad Evans returned with figures of 2/25 to aid his team’s remarkable victory.
Following a nail-biting four-wicket loss to archrival India, it was Pakistan’s second loss in as many games. Indian veteran Virender Sehwag reacted to Pakistan’s defeat after Zimbabwe dominated a nail-biting thriller. Check out the tweets by the former Indian opener –
