BCCI President Sourav Ganguly to be discharged tomorrow

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly will be discharged from the hospital on January 6 as the doctors have now declared that Ganguly is out of danger now and can go home. Ganguly was admitted to the hospital on January 2 after complaining about chest pain.

The cricketing world received a major blow as they received this news. On January 2, the BCCI president was working out in his house gym where he complained about chest pain. Immediately he was rushed to the Woodlands Hospital where his angioplasty was conducted by the doctors. The doctors later confirmed that Ganguly had a mild heart attack.

The doctors gave out the official statement on Wednesday where they confirmed that Ganguly was doing well and can be sent back home. Although, they still will have Ganguly under observation and will keep him on oral medications. The doctors have left the decision of angioplasty to the family. The doctors feel that it will be a good decision for him to go through an angioplasty.

He will be discharged on Thursday, January 6. BCCI president is expected to return soon to work as the domestic tournaments are about to begin in the month of January.
