BCCI management to review team’s T20 World Cup 2022 performance

On January 1, the BCCI’s top officials will evaluate India’s disappointing showing at the 2022 T20 World Cup along with the team’s captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid. It’s anticipated that NCA director VVS Laxman, who has been with the Indian team without Dravid, will attend the meeting as well.

Prior to the limited-overs match against Sri Lanka, which starts on January 3, there will be a meeting in Mumbai.

After the World Cup, the Chetan Sharma-led selection panel was dismissed, but a new panel has not yet been established.

Despite being fired in November, the committee is still monitoring the Ranji Trophy and selecting the team for the three T20 matches and one-day internationals against Sri Lanka.

The Cricket Advisory Committee, which was established earlier this month, met on Friday in Mumbai to narrow down the list of potential selector candidates.
