BCCI has announced the Women’s squad for the India tour to Australia

Indian women’s squad is scheduled to go to Australia for their tour against them. BCCI has announced the squad which will be heading to Australia at the August end.

Indian Women’s Squad for the tour of Australia has been announced by the BCCI on Tuesday. India will be heading to Australia towards the end of August. All the matches are scheduled for September and October. In this tour of Australia, the Indian women’s cricket team will be playing 3 ODI’s, all of them will be conducted in September.

Towards the end of September, the women’s team has also been scheduled to play a day/night Test match at the WACA Ground in Perth, Australia. This day/night Test match will be played between 30 September and 3 October. This will be the Indian women’s first-ever day/night test match which will be a big test for them as they are against Australia. There will also be three twenty20 Internationals which will be played in October. Mithali Raj will be leading the ODI and the Test team and the captain of T20I will be Harmanpreet Kaur.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named the Indian women’s squads for all the formats i.e. ODI, Test, and T20I. All the experienced and even the young Indian women who were playing in the tournament called ‘The Hundred’ – Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, and Shafali Verma – have been named in this Indian Squad for the upcoming tour in Australia.

Mithali Raj (Captain), Harmanpreet Kaur (vice-captain), Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Punam Raut, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Sneh Rana, Yastika Bhatia, Taniya Bhatia (wicket-keeper), Shikha Pandey, Jhulan Goswami, Meghna Singh, Pooja Vastrakar, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Poonam Yadav, Richa Ghosh, Ekta Bisht.
