BBL: Brisbane Heat defeat Melbourne Renegades by 26 runs

BBL: It’s match number 49 of the Big Bash League. Brisbane Heat vs Melbourne Renegades. After winning the toss Brisbane Heat decided to bat first. The visitors scored 173/5 in 20 overs at Docklands Stadium, Melbourne.  The Renegades could only score 147/10 being bowled out in just 18.4 overs. The visiting bowling site bowled magnificently not allowing easy runs. Mark Steketee got three crucial wickets. While Xavier Bartlett and Mitchell Swepson pocketed two wickets apiece.

Chris Lynn ensured them a flying start and scored 52 off just 30 balls. After enchanting batting performance against India. Marnus Labuschagne continued his sublime and scored 49 off just 31 balls.

Renegades’ bowlers weren’t effective, though Zak Evans pocketed three wickets. While Imad Wasim and Peter Hatzoglou picked one wicket apiece. Sam Harper was the only one who looked comfortable while batting.  He scored 57 off just 32 balls for Renegades.

Marnus Labuschagne was declared player of the match.
